Privacy Policy

Bridge Swap is built to need as little of your data as possible. This page explains exactly what we do (and don't) collect when you use it.

1. What we don't collect

There is no account to create, so we never ask for your name, email, or identity documents for a standard swap. We never ask for or store your wallet's private keys or recovery phrase - if anyone claiming to represent us ever asks for these, it is not us.

2. What we do process

Wallet addresses. The sending address (if you connect a wallet) and the receiving address you provide, needed to carry out the exchange.
Transaction data. The coins, amounts, and networks involved in a swap, and the resulting on-chain transaction hash - this is public blockchain data by nature.
Basic technical data. Standard web server logs (IP address, browser type, timestamps) generated automatically by visiting the site, used for security and abuse prevention.

3. Cookies and local storage

We use your browser's local storage to remember basic preferences (such as which wallet you last connected) so the site works smoothly across visits. This data stays on your device and is not a tracking cookie shared with third parties.

4. Third parties

Connecting a wallet (MetaMask, Trust Wallet, Coinbase Wallet, or via WalletConnect) means that wallet provider's own privacy practices apply to that connection - we don't control what they do with data on their end. Reading live prices and blockchain data involves requests to public blockchain nodes and price APIs, which is how any crypto application works.

5. Data retention

Technical logs are kept only as long as needed for security and abuse prevention, then removed. Since transactions are recorded on public blockchains, that portion of the data is permanent and outside our control by nature.

6. Your rights

Because we don't hold accounts or identity data, there is typically nothing to export or delete beyond what a support request already resolves. If you have a specific data question, contact support through the options listed on the main site.
