FAQ

Answers to the questions we get asked most. Can't find yours here? Reach our support team through the contact options on the main site.

Do I need to create an account?
No. Bridge Swap works without registration or a password - you pick a pair, enter a receiving address, and send your deposit.
Do you ever hold my funds?
No. Bridge Swap is non-custodial - your deposit moves toward the destination wallet you specify as part of the transaction itself; it isn't parked on our servers in between.
How long does a swap take?
Most exchanges complete within minutes once your deposit reaches the required network confirmations. Timing varies by network and current congestion - some networks confirm in seconds, others (like Bitcoin) can take longer.
Can I send from an exchange instead of a personal wallet?
Yes, as long as that exchange allows withdrawals to external addresses. Some exchanges restrict this - check with them first if you're unsure.
What if I send the wrong amount?
Sending more or less than the quoted amount doesn't stop the exchange - we process what actually arrives on-chain. If you send well under the minimum, contact support.
What if I send on the wrong network?
If the asset itself is supported on our service, we can usually still process it even if it arrived on a different network than expected. See "Useful tips to know" on the How It Works page for the exact cases this covers - and if you're ever unsure, contact support before assuming the worst.
Can I cancel a transaction?
If you haven't sent funds yet, there's nothing to cancel - just start a new one. If you've already sent funds, contact support immediately for assistance.
Which wallets can I connect?
MetaMask, Trust Wallet, and Coinbase Wallet are supported directly, on both desktop and mobile. You can also send manually from any wallet or exchange without connecting anything.
Is the exchange rate fixed or does it change?
Rates are based on live market data and can move between the quote and settlement, especially in volatile markets. The rate you see just before confirming is the one used to calculate your quote.
Is there a minimum or maximum amount?
Yes, each coin has a minimum swap amount, shown on the swap screen before you confirm. This exists mainly to make sure network fees don't outweigh the amount you're exchanging.
